Cadet Corps
Goal #1
By the end of the 2023-24 school year, NC-804 will promote academic excellence by:
1. Maintaining a weighed GPA average 0.1 higher than the school population.
2. Achieving a 100% graduation rate for all senior cadets.
3. Competing in CyberPatriot (for first time) and JLAB.
Goal #2
By April 2024, 85% of the cadet corps will participate in at least 2 LDR activities and NC-804 will have at least 2 active LDRs in each tier (STEM based, activity based, unit based).
Goal #3
By the end of both semesters, every flight will have a uniform score average greater than 90%.
Goal #4
By the end of the 2023-24 school year, 80% of cadets will have PFT assessment push-up and sit-up scores increase 20% compared to initial assessment. Additionally, 80% of cadets will have a 10% reduction in endurance run/walk time.
School
Goal #1
To solve viability issues before school starts, the cadet staff will brief parents and students about AFJROTC opportunities at the EWHS open house. An approved method will be in place for students to change schedules with parental consent that night.
Goal #2
Before Veterans Day, NC-804 will conduct a school-wide Veterans Day ceremony recognizing all EWHS staff veterans and any Central Office and/or School Board veterans.
Goal #3
On Sept 11th, 2023, NC-804 will honor and remember all victims of Sept 11TH, 2001 and bring awareness throughout the school.
Goal #4
By the start of the 2024-25 school year, NC-804 will retain at least 55% of this year’s AS-1s, 80% of this year’s AS-2s, and 95% of staff (includes only cadets remaining at EWHS next year).
Goal #5
By the start of the 2024-25 school year, NC-804 will recruit at least 5 current EWHS students and 35 new 9th grade cadets by:
1. Attempting to set up a recruiting booth at feeder middle schools during lunches.
2. Planning and executing a recruiting trip to both feeder middle schools just before their registration.
3. Create a recruiting video prior to executing recruiting trips.
Community
Goal #1
By the end of the 2023-24 school year, NC-804 will accumulate at least 1,400 hours of community service. NC-804 will plan and execute at least 3 local (not at school) community service events per semester (Special Olympics, parade, Night to Shine, etc.)
Goal #2
By the end of the 2023-24 school year, NC-804 will have 100% participation in a school community service event; 85% participation in at least one community service event outside of school; and 50% participation in at least two community service events outside of school. Each cadet will complete a minimum of 5 hours of community service per semester.

By the end of the 2023-24 school year, NC-804 will plan and execute a Bataan Death March Memorial Hike.
