Cadet Corps
Goal #1
By the end of the 2019-2020 school year, NC-804 will improve academic excellence by working with Kitty Hawk Air Society to tutor cadets struggling academically. This will be accomplished by utilizing a Fast Forward block at least once a week.
Goal #2
By the end of the 2019-2020 school year, NC-804 will increase cadet knowledge, motivation and participation by: 1) developing and executing a cadet recognition program and promotion system 2) starting at least 2 new clubs/teams that cadets are interested in.
Goal #3
Compete in every event and win overall 1st, 2nd or 3rd in spring drill meet.
Goal #4
By the end of the 2019-2020 school year, raise over $3,000 from various fundraisers and plan/execute an overnight field trip in spring.
School
Goal #1
By the end of the first semester of the 2019-2020 school year, NC-804 will recruit at least 8 new cadets by: 1) setting up a recruiting stand during schools lunches 2) hosting a recruiting event during Fast Forward for students to learn about JROTC and answer questions 3) creating new NC-804 recruiting flyers and recruiting posters to display in school 4) training and motivating cadets to recruit a friend. Additionally, goal is to retain 70% of this year’s AS1s and AS2s (not including those who move and/or change schools).
Goal #2
By the end of the 2019-2020 school year, NC-804 will plan and accomplish one sizeable/unified school beautification project that requires each flight performing various parts to complete.
Community
Goal #1
By the end of the 2019-2020 school year, NC-804 will accomplish at least 1800 community service hours. This will include minimum of 4 events in the community (not counting parades, Color Guards) with at least 60% of cadet corps having participated in at least one.
Goal #2
By the end of the 2019-2020 school year, NC-804 will conduct at least 2 drives (i.e food, toys, etc.) to give to needy people/organizations. Additional, cadets will reach out to and develop a relationship with at least 2 community organizations.
